Mark Campbell
STARBASE N.H. Director
Mark “Grappler” Campbell was born in Colorado, grew up in Farmington, New Mexico, and went to college in Alamosa, Colorado where he majored in Secondary Education – Biology, and wrestled. He also met his incredible wife, Colleen, while in college and they moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. During the eight years they lived there they had three incredible children, Haeli, Emma, and Clay, and decided they wanted to move closer to family. Colleen grew up in Kittery, Maine, so the family moved to New England and has been here for 21 years. Mark was a high school science teacher for 11 years and a school administrator for 15 years. He is passionate about helping students learn and grow and loves that STARBASE provides children the meaningful experience of hands-on activities they need to think and learn, the way education should be. When he is not at STARBASE, Mr. Campbell loves to go hike, go fly fishing, read a good book, all sorts of sports, and spending time with his amazing wife and children.
Christopher Ginty
Deputy Director/Program Instructor
Christopher Ginty is a dedicated educator with a passion for STEM education and a rich background in teaching engineering and STEM related curricula. Born and raised in Connecticut, Chris developed a love for learning and exploration from an early age. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology, earned from the State University of New York – Oswego. Fueling his commitment to academic excellence, he furthered his education by obtaining a M.S. Ed degree from New England College. With an impressive 40-year career in education, Chris has shared his expertise with diverse audiences, ranging from adults and college students to high school and middle school students. His commitment to fostering a deep understanding of engineering and STEM curricula has left a lasting impact on countless minds. Outside the classroom, Chris remains an advocate for STEM education, recognizing its transformative power to shape the future. He believes that instilling a love for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in students equips them with the skills necessary to navigate an ever-evolving world.
Michele Golden
Program Instructor
Originally from New York, Michele has made New Hampshire her home since 2002. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Elmira College and a Master’s degree in teaching elementary mathematics from Marygrove College. Michele has worked in pre-K and elementary schools in New York, Florida, Virginia, and New Hampshire. After over 20 years, Michele transitioned from her role as the elementary mathematics curriculum implementation specialist for the Manchester School District in 2023. As an adjunct instructor, Michele also taught math methods to pre-service teachers. Michele enjoys helping students get excited about STEM subjects, especially mathematics. When not at Starbase NH, she enjoys family, crafting, traveling, and pursuing new interests.
Jennifer Kelsall
Executive Administrator
Jennifer “Phoenix” Kelsall is a New Hampshire Native who grew up in Barrington and attended Spaulding High School. She came to STARBASE with 20 years of customer service and office management experience. Jennifer joined STARBASE NH in 2023 when the program was launched. She is excited to be working at STARBASE and be part of a team who gives children a variety of STEM related opportunities. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and can be found cheering on her daughter’s volleyball team.
