We joined the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce (GCCC) this year and scheduled a “Before Business Hours” event here at STARBASE N.H. on Tuesday, Jan. 28th from 8:00-9:00am. We invited the GCCC members to visit our facility, have coffee, some pastries, and learn more about STARBASE N.H. We felt it would be great to have GCCC members see what we do at STARBASE NH and open the door for us to forge some partnerships with local entities. It also allowed local companies to see this beautiful facility and perhaps entice them to want to inquire about using it for their own needs. We had about 40 people from various businesses attend, including Breezeline, making it a very popular event (according to the GCCC staff).
From the “Before Business Hours” event, we were able to make a connection with Breezeline communications company. This connection led to conversations about the program and how it benefits the local students. Breezeline loved our program and wanted to do more by supporting a local school to attend STARBASE N.H. We were able to connect them with a local School and Breezeline is working to partner with that school to help with transportation costs for this year.
Another fund-raising opportunity arose during this quarter led by Amy Akins (Executive Director of Hope Through Education, Inc.). Mrs. Akins was able to connect with TDS Telecom and set up a meeting to share with them what STARBASE N.H. is about. The meeting went very well, and we were later informed that TDS wanted to donate $1000 to Hope Through Education to support STARBASE N.H. A decision was made to reach out to a local School to see if we can help their students attend STARBASE N.H. as a “field trip” to get a shortened version of the STARBASE N.H. experience.

STARBASE New Hampshire Outreach Event!!!!
STARBASE N.H. partnered with the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) on Saturday, March 22nd at the New Hampshire National Guard Edward Cross Training Complex (ECTC) in Pembroke, NH for a day of training and interaction with the CAP Cadets. The Cadets participated in trainings throughout the day dealing with leadership, teamwork, and Civil Air workshops. The Cadets also had the opportunity to work with the STARBASE N.H. staff on their skills to fly drones. There were five missions set up for the Cadets to successfully accomplish flying their drone and completing the missions. It was a wonderful opportunity for the STARBASE N.H. staff to interact with older students to further STEM learning in a hands-on and engaging way. It was a great day of learning and fun with the Cadets!!!
TRUNK or TREAT
STARBASE New Hampshire supports the New Hampshire National Guard during their Trunk or Treat Halloween event. It was a great event giving out candy to all the children.

STARBASE New Hampshire is happy to announce that we have joined the highly respected Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce. We continue to find ways to become more engaged with our local community and partner with other entities that share the vision of improving the knowledge and skills of our nation’s youth.

STARBASE NEW Hampshire Starts Second Year
STARBASE New Hampshire started their second year on September 9th welcoming the students from Southside Middle School from Manchester, the students from Concord Christian Academy, and the students from Strong Foundations Charter School. The students were awesome and worked well together to accomplish the many hands-on activities they participated in.

Conclusion of our FREE Summer Camps at STARBASE N.H.
We had four weeks of Summer Camps and they were outstanding. We had 67 students attend the four camps. It was a successful first summer of camps here at STARBASE New Hampshire and our instructors, Mr. Ginty and Ms. Golden, did an amazing job of creating engaging and fun lessons for the students to learn from.

STARBASE New Hampshire is pleased to announce the positive finish to its inaugural year on June 13. STARBASE N.H. was commissioned by the Department of Defense (DoD) to start the program September 25th, 2023. Six weeks later, students walked through the doors to receive engaging hands-on STEM activities from two very experienced instructors. We have had students coming through the doors ever since as the STARBASE program has been extremely well received. Dunbarton and Franklin School Districts were the first two to send students in November 2023 and the students from Southside Middle School and The Middle School at Parkside from the Manchester School District sent students from January until the beginning of May. At the end the year, Pittsfield Elementary, Deerfield Community School, Allenstown Community School, Abbot-Downing Elementary, Bow Memorial, and Wilson Elementary sent students to experience the wonderful STEM activities at STARBASE New Hampshire. We are thrilled to finish our first full year and are looking forward to another year of working with the students of New Hampshire!
